The exhibition “Experimental Design – Our Way to Typography” brings poster works by students of the Information and Communication Design degree programme at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences into Museum PAN. Created as part of the long-standing collaboration with the PAN Kunstforum Foundation, the contemporary works are shown alongside original posters by Wolfgang Weingart from 1982 to 1984. The exhibition is on view in Emmerich am Rhein until 26 April 2026.

Die Hochschule Rhein-Waal eröffnete zusammen mit dem Bau- und Liegenschaftsbetrieb Nordrhein-Westfalen (BLB NRW) am 29. Januar 2026 einen neuen Schnellladepark für Elektrofahrzeuge auf dem Parkplatz der Hochschule in Kamp-Lintfort. Betreiber des E-Ladeparks ist die Die EWE Go HOCHTIEF Ladepartner GmbH & Co. KG. On January 15, 2026, NRW Interior Minister Herbert Reul visited Rhine-Waal University at its Kamp-Lintfort campus to discuss issues of cybersecurity and cybercrime with students from the Faculty of Communication and Environment. Invited by Professor Dr Matthias Reintjes, Professor of Public Administration and Digital Transformation, the Minister delivered a guest lecture to around 100 students enrolled in the E-Government Bachelor’s programme, before engaging in an open Q&A session with the audience.
