Leen Skaf, Lysander Trapp and Mika Günther have successfully completed the renowned Fab Academy. At the FabLab in Kamp-Lintfort, they developed their own projects in digital fabrication – ranging from 3D printing and CNC milling to electronics design. In recognition of their achievements, they were invited to the international FabX 2025 conference in the Czech Republic, where MIT Professor Neil Gershenfeld personally presented them with their diplomas.

As part of the course “Methods and Tools of Modern Astronomy”, over 20 students from the Media Communication and Computer Science B.Sc. programme had the chance to engage with contemporary radio astronomy techniques, spanning from historic instruments to advanced research facilities.

Bright spring sunshine and joyful faces set the scene as 63 graduates from the Faculty of Communication and Environment celebrated the end of their studies on 9 May. The Audimax in Kamp-Lintfort was filled with friends, families, and faculty members who gathered to honour this important milestone.
